E Scourti is an artist and writer living between Athens and London, working with the scraps and leftovers of everyday archives, routines and obsessions. as the non-world falls away was written out of scanned images of Scourti’s notebooks, converted into digital text and collaged together on their phone, and act as scripts for performances.

Written in English and Greek, the poems explore labour, gentrification, mistranslation, living in linguistic and cultural in-betweens, gender becoming as well as feeling states of desire, yearning and (occasional) hope.
